Nexus Risk TSA WA Open Round 4
After the 4th round of the TSA Risk Nexus Western Australian Open I have shot a score of 69 (-3) to finish 10 under, T5th. Hot day with not wind to speak of. Bit like round 1 and 2.
Making par on 1 I made up and down on the 2nd. 3 putt on the par 5 3rd really hurt the momentum for the round early. Regular par at the 4th before I went on a run making 3 birdies in a row 5, 6 and 7. From the fairway at 8 70m out I hit a fat wedge into the bunker short, short sighting myself making bogey but bounced back at the next on the par 5.
Greens in regulation at 10, 11 and 12 making pars before making a critical up and downs at 13 and 14 for par. Regulation par at 15 before making up and down from the front of the green at 16. Regulation par at 17. Mint drive off the tee at 18 hitting the fairway. Back left flag hitting the ball in the right bunker, holing a 4m birdie putt to reach double figures for the tournament.
13 greens 29 putts. Best finish ever on Australian soil. Over the moon with my game this week. Looking forward to the Queensland Open. On the red eye flight back tonight to dive straight into a practice round at Brisbane Golf Club. Big thanks to John Hughes Hyundai.
